• It was originally created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll and name given ImagePro. After sometime name change into Photoshop due to copyright issue. And 1st version of Photoshop is 0.87
• In 1990 Photoshop 1.0  release by Adobe Inc.
• Photoshop is an images editing software it is as a pixel based image and raster graphic editor.
• Since then, this software has become the industry standard not only in raster graphics editing, but in digital art as a whole.
• Photoshop files have default file extension as .PSD and .PSB, which stands for “Photoshop Document”.
• A PSD file has a maximum height and width of 30,000 pixels, and a length limit of two gigabytes and PSB file has a maximum height and width of 300,000 (3 lakh) pixels, and a length limit of four extra bytes
